Welcoming students as they begin their education at Westerdals is humbling. The students place their trust in us as they start on their journey. I have the opportunity to guide and mentor them over the next three years and launch them into their careers.
Today, our alumni are working in major VFX studios all over Scandiniva and Europe. From Storm Studios and Gimpville in Oslo, Important Looking Pirates in Stockholm, Ghost Studios in Copenhagen to Industrial Light and Magic in London - our alumni are shaping the industry.

Being an Associate Professor at Westerdals, teaching and lecturing, is a privilege. It gives me the opportunity to share the production knowledge I’ve acquired over the years working on movies. It also allows me to develop a pedagogy that prepares students for the future that’s ahead of them.
To be surrounded daily by some of the most creative and innovative minds, both students and staff, keeps me sharp and focused. It gives me energy. It is deeply meaningful to me.
That is why I teach.
